Acknowledgments

To my wife, Debbie . . . who I fall in love with a little more every day. You’ve always been there for me and I wouldn’t be anywhere without you. Sitting across from you writing our books and drinking coffee every morning in the Hebrew University Cafeteria were the best moments I’ve ever lived. No matter how big a bestseller your novel becomes, no one will ever enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed being there when you wrote it. Thanks also for the wealth of talent, insight, and effort you put into editing this book.

To my children—Shmuel, Mishi, Davidi, Liora, Yoni, Racheli, Tamar, and Yosef. You are the real meaning in my life. You’re the proof that G-d is good, and also that He has a sense of humor.

To my beloved parents, sisters and their families, and mother-in-law . . . who have always loved, inspired, and supported me in even my most harebrained schemes.

To my other family at IDT; I wish I could mention each one of you by name. You are the best and the brightest. Let’s continue to go from strength to strength together.

Special thanks to Simon Lermer, Howie Millendorf, Michael Horen, Sharon Bar David, and J. J. Gross, not only for your help putting this book together, but for your friendship that means so much to me.
