NJPAC:

important cultural institution, and yet one of it’s newest.
The New Jersey Performing arts Center located at One Center Street
in the Military
Park section of downtown Newark is called by some “the Nation’s
most glamorous theater”. NJPAC is the fifth largest performing
arts center in the country.
Newark Symphony Hall:

in 1925 by the Ancient Order of the Nobles of the Mystic
Shrine (The Shriners), Symphony Hall is notable
for it’s lush
interior features. Greek and Egyptian motifs, marble
columns, and elaborate gold leaf adorn this marvelous
edifice. The structure houses the 3000 seat
Sarah Vaughn Concert Hall.
Newark Museum:

Michael Graves, the Newark Museum is an American Treasure.
Housing over 80 galleries
of arts
and science, a mini zoo, planetarium, café, sculpture
garden, and The Ballantine House, a restored 1885
mantion and National Historic Landmark. The Museum is also
home
to the largest
collection of Tibetan
art outside of Tibet, along with many other treasures
from
Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
Continental
Airlines Arena:

NJ 201-935-3900. Home to the NBA’s Eastern Conference Champion
New Jersey Nets, the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, College Basketball’s
Seton Hall Pirates. The Continental Airlines Area also
hosts world-class concerts and many other events.

Den” it is home to minor league baseball’s
2002 Atlantic League Champion Newark Bears. This brand
new ball park is “next door” to the Washington Square
Conference Center.
